"Infatuation" is a painting about the emotional complexity of this state. I didn't want to depict love as a single feeling — because it's never just one. It's a multi-layered state where fascination, closeness, uncertainty, tension, openness, and vulnerability coexist.
I painted not what infatuation looks like, but how it is experienced. I built the painting from thousands of small circular forms — up close, they dissolve into pure color; from a distance, they coalesce into a whole. This multitude of small elements is not accidental: that's exactly how infatuation works, composed of hundreds of simultaneous, contradictory tremors.
I painted it in intense, vibrant colors, because that's how I feel this emotion — full of energy and tension. It's a painting that stays with you, and each time you can see something different in it. The vertical format means it will fit well on a narrower wall — in the bedroom, hallway, or wherever you want something personal close to you.
Authenticity
The painting is hand-painted, signed on the front and back, and I include a personalized certificate of authenticity with the title, dimensions, year of creation, and my signature. This is the only copy of this work — a second one will never be created.
Framing and readiness to hang
The painting is sold unframed — on a high-quality stretcher, ready to hang right out of the box. Raw, unframed canvas is a conscious contemporary choice: it gives you complete freedom if you later wish to choose a frame for your interior.
Shipping
I personally pack each work with the utmost care. Smaller and medium-sized paintings are shipped fully assembled, on a stretcher. Larger formats, for complete safety in transit, are removed from the stretcher and shipped rolled in a rigid protective tube — re-stretching them onto a stretcher is simple and can be done by any framing shop (I'll gladly advise on how to do it). All shipments are fully insured and sent via trusted courier companies, with a tracking number.
See the painting live
The colors and texture of this work are best appreciated in person. If you are in Warsaw, I invite you to my gallery on Tucholska street — let's arrange a quiet, individual viewing. Call or write to me, and we'll find a convenient time to meet and see the painting.
