The bedroom is where every day begins and ends. I chose paintings for it that are good to wake up and fall asleep with. "Good Company" hangs above my own bed.

How to choose art for above the bed

Size. Above a wide bed (160–180 cm), a large painting works best — an original or a print in the largest format, UNIVERSUM. Above a narrower bed or in a smaller bedroom, a smaller format looks good, on its own or paired with a second piece. The exact dimensions of each work are listed on the product page.

Height. The bottom edge of the painting looks best about 20–30 cm above the headboard. That way it stays connected to the bed instead of "floating" up towards the ceiling.

Colour. For the bedroom, choose a painting that calms rather than stimulates. A colour that repeats in your bedding, curtains or wall works well.
