Details
Technique: giclée on archival Hahnemühle cotton paper, museum-grade pigment inks · Signature: hand-signed and numbered · Type: limited collector's edition
Museum-quality giclée based on my original painting "RELATIVE BEAUTY".
The original painting speaks to the idea that beauty is never an absolute value — it always depends on how we look. I wanted to ask a few questions with it: what exactly is beauty? Does it need embellishment? Can it be confined within a frame just to be admired?
The print is made on archival Hahnemühle cotton paper, using museum-grade pigment inks — this ensures it retains the full depth of colour, atmosphere, and emotional character of the original. This technique allows the print to last for decades without fading.
Each print is hand-signed and numbered by me. This is a strictly limited edition — once sold out, it will not be reissued.
Available formats and edition size (print only, unframed)
- PUNCTUM — 27 x 27 cm — limited edition of 100 copies
- CIRCULUS — 37 x 37 cm — limited edition of 70 copies
- ORBIS — 47 x 47 cm — limited edition of 50 copies
- UNIVERSUM — 81 x 81 cm — limited edition of 25 copies
The proportions of each format correspond to the proportions of the original painting, which is why the dimensions vary slightly depending on the work. In the ORBIS and UNIVERSUM formats, copy no. 1 is also available — the very first of the whole edition.
Copy number
Each print bears its individual number in the edition, written as a fraction — for example, 1/100 means the first copy out of a hundred in the entire run of that particular format.
In collecting, the lower the number, the more prized the copy — the first prints from an edition are considered the most desirable.
I assign numbers sequentially, in order of purchase, so the earlier you acquire the artwork, the lower the number in the edition you will receive.
Paper
The print is printed with a white border around the composition, which facilitates professional framing with a passe-partout and protects the artwork during framing.
Framing (optional)
You can order the print by itself, for your own framing, or in a ready-made frame — professionally framed and ready to hang immediately after unpacking.
Framing includes a black wooden frame, acrylic glass (lighter and safer for transport than traditional glass), passe-partout, acid-free backing protecting the artwork, and an HDF board back.
Framing is available for all formats — you can choose the option when purchasing.
Authenticity
Each copy comes with a certificate of authenticity, personally signed by me, with the title of the work, format, edition number, and my signature.
Shipping
I personally package each print with the utmost care — flat, in a rigid protective tube or in secured frame packaging, depending on the format and framing.
All shipments are fully insured and sent via trusted courier companies, with a tracking number.
Art that stays with you for years.
