The inspiration for the painting came from a photograph of an interior found in a design magazine. The sofa, in particular, caught my attention and became the starting point for creating my own story captured in the painting.

The composition is based on what is not seen. The empty space on the couch, the left-behind objects, and the unspoken details suggest that someone was just there a moment ago and then suddenly left.

The painting does not show characters or a specific event. It focuses on the emotions remaining in the space after their disappearance. It is a moment of suspension between what has already happened and what is yet to come.

Silence becomes the main character here. It fills the interior, builds tension, and leaves room for personal interpretations. Each viewer can add their own story to this scene.
