The painting began with a photograph of an interior found in a design magazine. What caught my eye was the sofa, and it became the starting point for a story of my own.

The composition rests on what you cannot see. The empty place on the sofa, the objects left behind and the unspoken details suggest that someone was here a moment ago and then suddenly left. It is a moment suspended between what has already happened and what is about to.

Formats

  • PUNCTUM — 27 × 27 cm — edition of up to 100
  • CIRCULUS — 37 × 37 cm — edition of up to 70
  • ORBIS — 47 × 47 cm — edition of up to 40

Dimensions are for the print alone, without framing. In the ORBIS format there is also a unique number 1 — the first copy from the whole edition.

Craft

Giclée on archival Hahnemühle cotton paper with museum-grade pigment inks — no fading for decades. Hand-signed and numbered, with a personally signed certificate of authenticity. A strictly limited edition: once sold out, it never returns to print.

Framing

You can order the print on its own, to frame yourself, or ready-framed — ready to hang straight out of the box. Choose the option above.

Framing includes a black wooden frame, acrylic glazing (lighter and safer in transit than glass), a mat, acid-free backing to protect the work and an HDF back panel. Available in all formats.

Unframed, the print has a white margin around the composition, which makes later framing with a mat easier.
