The inspiration for the painting was the landscape of the Bieszczady Mountains — a place particularly close to the artist's heart. On one of the hills, a herd of horses could regularly be observed standing peacefully in a mountain pasture. Their presence, rhythm, and natural serenity became the emotional foundation of this composition.
The painting speaks to the contrast between human anxiety and the tranquility of nature. The horses seem fully present in the moment, rooted in their world and free from the haste that so often accompanies modern life.
They don't need much. They don't strive for new goals. They simply are.
Within this simplicity lies the power that became the main theme of the painting. Herd is a reflection on peace, observation, and the ability to find balance in a world full of stimuli.
This is a contemporary figurative painting inspired by horses and nature, created for interiors that value harmony, space, and authentic emotions.
A collectible work of art that brings a sense of breathing room, silence, and the calm strength derived from contact with nature into a space.
