The painting is a reflection on human behavior, attention, and our relationship with nature. It depicts a symbolic contrast between self-absorption and awareness of the surrounding world — between the need for constant visibility and peaceful presence.
Figures absorbed in their own image and device screens symbolize the contemporary way of functioning, where we increasingly direct our attention to the digital world. Next to them appears a giraffe — a symbol of nature, calmness, and mindful observation.
Motionless, dignified, and rooted in its surroundings, it represents perspective, patience, and a presence independent of the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It is a reminder that there is also another way of being — more conscious, calmer, and closer to nature.
This is a contemporary figurative painting with a conceptual character, which neither judges nor provides simple answers. Instead, it encourages reflection on what we focus our attention on and what we truly notice around us.
A collectible work of art created for interiors that value meaning, awareness, and art that tells a story about contemporary humanity. A painting designed to remain relevant regardless of changing trends.
