The inspiration for the painting came from daily walks, changing seasons, and the extraordinary ability of imagination to transform ordinary sights into entirely new stories.

The starting point was memories of an exceptionally colorful autumn in Warsaw. Park alleys covered with red and orange leaves began to resemble a flowing river. The familiar landscape suddenly changed its character, and an ordinary path transformed into a space full of movement and imagined journeys.

It was this visual transformation that became the beginning of the painting. The kayakers appear here as a metaphor for the peaceful movement through time, seasons, and subsequent stages of life. They flow through the colors, light, and atmosphere of the moment, following their own rhythm.

The painting speaks of mindfulness and noticing the extraordinary in the everyday. It reminds us that sometimes it is enough to look at a well-known place from a different perspective to discover something completely new in it.
