A museum-quality giclée made from my original painting “KAYAKERS” (2023, 80 × 60 cm). The original is in a private collection.

The painting was inspired by daily walks, the changing seasons and the remarkable ability of the imagination to turn ordinary views into entirely new stories.

The starting point was my memory of an exceptionally colourful autumn in Warsaw. Park paths covered in red and orange leaves began to look like a flowing river. A familiar landscape suddenly changed its character, and an ordinary path turned into a space full of movement and imagined journeys.

The kayakers appear here as a metaphor for moving calmly through time, the seasons and the stages of life. They float through colour, light and the atmosphere of the moment, following their own rhythm.

The painting is about mindfulness and noticing the extraordinary in the everyday. It reminds us that sometimes it is enough to look at a well-known place from a different perspective to discover something entirely new in it.

The print is made on archival Hahnemühle cotton paper with museum-grade pigment inks, so it keeps the full depth of colour, atmosphere and emotional character of the painting. This technique lets a print last for decades without fading.

I hand-sign and number every print. This is a strictly limited edition — once it sells out, it will not be reprinted.

Available formats and edition size (print only, unframed)

• PUNCTUM — 27 x 36 cm — limited to 100 copies
• CIRCULUS — 37 x 49.5 cm — limited to 70 copies
• ORBIS — 47 x 62.5 cm — limited to 50 copies

The proportions of each format match those of the original painting, so dimensions vary slightly from work to work. ORBIS also comes with copy no. 1, the first of the whole edition.

Copy number

Every print bears its own number in the edition, written as a fraction — for example, 1/100 means the first copy out of one hundred in the whole run of that format.

In collecting, the lower the number, the more prized the copy — the first prints of an edition are considered the most desirable.

I assign numbers in order of purchase, so the earlier you reach for a print, the lower the number in the edition you receive.

Paper

The print is made with a white margin around the composition, which makes professional framing with a passe-partout easier and protects the work during framing.

Framing (optional)

You can order the print on its own, for your own framing, or in a ready frame — professionally framed and ready to hang as soon as it is unpacked.

The framing includes a black wooden frame, acrylic glass (lighter and safer to transport than traditional glass), a passe-partout, acid-free backing that protects the work, and a back made of HDF board.

Framing is available for all formats — you choose the option at checkout.

Authenticity

Every copy comes with a certificate of authenticity, personally signed by me, with the title of the work, the format, the edition number and my signature.

Shipping

I pack every print personally and with the greatest care — flat, in a rigid protective tube or in secure frame packaging, depending on the format and framing.

All shipments are fully insured and sent with trusted courier companies, with a tracking number.
