Details
Year: 2024 · Dimensions: 120 × 100 cm · Technique: acrylic on linen canvas · Series: from the "Tea Time" triptych · Type: original contemporary painting — unique, one of a kind
This large-format painting is a still life focused on color, simplicity, and a consciously limited composition. I built it with just three dominant colors — blue, red, and yellow. This limitation of the palette is not a limitation of possibilities, but a tool: it leads to greater clarity.
I forgo narrative and focus on simple forms to extract rhythm, proportions, and visual balance. The minimalist form allows colors to take the main role — they build subtle tensions and harmonious relationships between elements. I construct this painting, like all my works, from thousands of small circular forms: up close they scatter into pure color, from a distance they compose into a calm composition.
The painting was created as part of the "Tea Time" series, in which I explore the repeatability of motifs, the reduction of form, and the construction of meaning with a very sparse visual language. This is a work for an interior that values conscious minimalism and can find peace in simplicity — for a living room, dining room, or an elegant, subdued space.
Authenticity
The painting is hand-painted, signed on the front and back, and comes with a personalized certificate of authenticity with the title, dimensions, year of creation, and my signature. This is the only copy of this work — no other will ever be made.
Framing and readiness to hang
The painting is sold unframed — on a high-quality stretcher, ready to hang immediately after unpacking. The raw, unframed canvas is a conscious contemporary choice: it gives complete freedom if you later decide to choose a frame to match your interior.
Shipping
I pack each work personally and with the utmost care. Due to its large format, this painting — for complete safety in transport — is removed from the stretcher and shipped rolled in a rigid protective tube. Restretching it onto a stretcher is simple and can be done by any framing workshop (I'd be happy to advise you on how to do it and where). All shipments are fully insured and sent via trusted courier companies, with a tracking number. If you are in Warsaw, I can also deliver the painting personally.
See the painting live
The colors and texture of this work are best appreciated in person. If you are in Warsaw, I invite you to my gallery on Tucholska Street — let's arrange a calm, individual viewing. Call or write to me, and we will find a convenient date and meet by the painting.
