Details
Year: 2024 · Dimensions: 120 × 100 cm · Technique: acrylic on linen canvas · Series: from the triptych "Tea Time" · Type: original contemporary painting — unique, one-of-a-kind piece
This large-format painting is a still life focused on color, simplicity, and a consciously limited composition. I built it with just three dominant colors — blue, red, and yellow. This limited palette is not a restriction of possibilities here, but a tool: it leads to greater clarity.
I forgo narrative and focus on simple forms to bring out rhythm, proportions, and visual balance. The minimalist form allows colors to take center stage — they build subtle tensions and harmonious relationships between elements. I build this painting, like all my works, from thousands of small circular forms: up close, they break down into pure color; from afar, they coalesce into a serene composition.
The painting was created as part of the "Tea Time" series, in which I explore the repeatability of motifs, the reduction of form, and the construction of meanings with a very economical visual language. This is a work for an interior that values conscious minimalism and can find peace in simplicity — for a living room, dining room, or an elegant, tranquil space.
Authenticity
The painting is hand-painted, signed on the front and back, and comes with a named certificate of authenticity stating the title, dimensions, year of creation, and my signature. This is the only copy of this work — a second one will never be created.
Framing and readiness to hang
The painting is sold unframed — on a high-quality stretcher, ready to hang immediately after unpacking. The raw, unframed canvas is a conscious contemporary choice: it gives complete freedom if you wish to choose a frame for your interior later.
Shipping
I personally pack each work with the utmost care. Due to its large format, this painting — for complete safety during transport — will be removed from the stretcher and shipped rolled in a rigid protective tube. Restretching it onto a stretcher is simple and can be done by any framing workshop (I'd be happy to advise you on how and where to do it). All shipments are fully insured and sent via trusted courier companies, with a tracking number. If you are in Warsaw, I can also deliver the painting in person.
See the painting live
The colors and texture of this work are best appreciated in person. If you are in Warsaw, I invite you to my gallery on Tucholska Street — let's arrange a calm, individual viewing. Call or write to me, and we will find a convenient time to meet at the painting.
