About the Artist

Kasia Laskowska

Contemporary Painter | Founder of Kasia Laskowska Art

Kasia Laskowska is a contemporary painter based in Warsaw, working in her own developed acrylic technique on canvas. Painting is the foundation of her artistic universe and the core of her brand.

She studied painting at the European Academy of Arts in Warsaw and at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna (Universität für angewandte Kunst Wien). These academic foundations shaped her disciplined approach to composition, structure and material depth.

Before returning fully to painting, she built a long-standing career in television and international media. Years spent working with image, narrative and visual culture refined her sensitivity to symbolism, presence and perception — elements that today form the backbone of her artistic language.

Her works are held in private collections internationally.

Artistic Process

Laskowska works in layered acrylic compositions, building structure gradually through controlled rhythm and intuitive intervention.

Each painting develops over time — through tension between movement and stillness, density and lightness, geometry and organic form.

Recurring motifs — botanical forms, architectural fragments, animals, intimate domestic spaces — are not literal representations but symbolic constructs. They create narrative depth while maintaining visual restraint.

Her technique is authored and developed independently, allowing each piece to maintain recognisable continuity within a coherent body of work.

"My painting technique is based on building the image through small circular marks — dots and soft rounded gestures of colour.
Instead of drawing strict lines, I construct the form through rhythm, repetition and layers.

These circles are not decorative elements.
They are traces of movement and emotion.

By placing colour next to colour in small rounded shapes, I allow the image to grow organically.
Forms appear gradually, almost as if they were emerging from light.

This technique allows me to paint not only objects, but also atmosphere, energy and feeling.
The circles create vibration and movement on the surface of the canvas, so the painting never feels completely still.

In a way, every circle is like a small pulse of colour that becomes part of a larger visual rhythm."

Collection

This collection includes original acrylic paintings on canvas and strictly limited giclée editions developed from original works.

Each painting is created using an authored layered technique and exists as a one-of-a-kind composition. Limited editions are numbered, signed and printed on archival fine art paper.

The brand follows a controlled growth strategy, with gradual price development aligned with expanding international collector presence.

Acquiring a work is both an aesthetic decision and an entry into a contemporary art brand built for longevity and long-term value.
